On September 12, Hunan Qifeng Eco-Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. held the opening ceremony for its 'Rice-Vegetable Rotation' 10,000-mu vegetable planting project in Niutouwan Village, XiaoJia Town. Eight large-scale agricultural machines were deployed for deep plowing of post-rice fields. The company has leased nearly 1,000 mu of farmland nearby and plans to plant the first batch of vegetables by mid-next month. Qiyang Municipal Deputy Mayor Jiang Mingming attended the event. Chairman Yu Xiangde emphasized the company's strategy of digital agriculture, brand-driven cooperation with farmer cooperatives, and cultural value creation to achieve 'one town, one specialty'. The project, backed by a RMB 218 million investment, targets 50,000 mu of vegetable cultivation on idle winter farmland within three years, alongside construction of a 42,000 sqm cold chain logistics center.
